outfit #62: the beanie

Hey you!

It's been a while, I know, but I needed some time! I hope you're all doing well!

I guess you have noticed that the beanie is totally in this season! I have been wearing beanies since a loooong time and I love them (especially with long hair) for the winter! I have had this pink one from Cos for quit some time and I still wear it over and over again, but never thought of showing it to you! I, of course, fell in love with the color; that bright pink in winter is just so refreshing! I get a lot of compliments when I'm wearing it. So, now, I'm on the hunt of other ones (in green, especially). I know it's getting warmer, but you always need a hat/beanie to cover your head from the rain here in Belgium!

What do you think about this new trend?

And, Oh my God, I totally forgot to tell you that I SUCCEEDED ALL MY EXAMS. I even have a distinction (do we say that?). It's when you have more than a 14 (and I have a 14,7). There were two exams I was afraid of and I had a 12 and 17 for them, haha. Low esteem took over!

sales shopping: the shoes

Photobucket

You might remember how frustrated I was that I couldn't do the sales! I'm a pro in finding bargains! This year, I had already an eye on some stuff and I got most of it at a very attractive price. I bought coats, shoes, shirts, tops, jewelery, pants, etc. for veeeeery cheap prices. Most of the time I got them at -70%, so I couldn't be happier! Two pairs of the shoes (2 & 3) were on my wishlist; both are from Pull&Bear and were out of my budget (70 and 80 euro). I found them in Madrid for 20 euro, ah!

Here is an overview of the shoes I got during the sales:

1) Love at first (and cheap) sight. I saw they were for 15 euro (instead of 32,50) but they were a size smaller. When I tried them, they were just fine! So I bought them. Later that day, I wore them and after an hour my feet were bleeding :p. Now I have to find a way to make them bigger, because they hurt too much. They're tight, but not very very tight, so I think it's still possible to make them a little larger. I'll see.

Marypaz (I think) - 15 euro instead of 32,50 euro

2) I saw those shoes in Brussels for about 80 euro. Real leather and all! Loved them, even if I'm not a fan of the color and the peep toe bothers me a little bit. I saw them in Madrid for 30 euro, but I was hesitating between them and the black one (see below (3)). When I went to the cashier, she told me that the black ones were 20 euro. So I took them too and they were also at 20 euro! 4O euro for two pairs of shoes instead of 150 euro. Crazy, uh?! And they are soooo comfy! Love the wooden heel!

3) I had a big crush on those one (I love Chelsea boots, I want to find also without heel). They were 70 euro, and so out of my budget! During the sales, I went to Pull and Bear and all my favourite sheos were sold out... Big dissapointment! Got them for 20 euro in Madrid, so I was soooo happy. Sometimes it's worth waiting (I would have been soooo mad if I had paid 70 euro and then saw them at 20!)

4) Last but not least! Worst shopping ever in Paris. I only bought these beauties and black pants... They were from a store I really don't like (but I was desperate). When I saw them at 9 euro, I couldn't resist. And they are so COMFORTABLE! Love them and I'm so glad I found them. My friend also took them. And they make such a nice noise when I walk, haha :D!

So, which one is your favourite pair? Tell me!

versace for h&m cruise collection

Photobucket

In my previous post, I told you I won a whole outfit from the Versace for H&M Cruise Collection (worth £125 or €150) thanks to Columbine. I received the package and here is what I think about the collection:

Photobucket

I prefer this collection sooooo much more than the previous one. This one is sweet and cute. The colors and the prints are more my cup of tea! I'm also surprised by the quality of the pieces. The shoes and the belt are made of leather and you can see it's not the usual material that we find in H&M. I love the shape of the dress! The dress is a bit too long but I think it's really wel cut and fit my body well. Love the draping and the asymmetrical touch! The earrings are so Versace (and heavy, haha) but I really love them. They bling bling your outfit in no time!

I really can see myself wearing this in spring and I like the fact that not a lot of my friends know/bought the collection, since it was only available on line! I'm soooo happy that I won, so thanks again Columbine for this amazing giveaway!

outfit #61: paris

Photobucket

I'm back from Paris and it was A-MA-ZING! We stayed at a friend's house (well, apartment)! We arrived friday evening. We went to the apartment where our friend was waiting for us with her girlfriend. We talked an laughed and then they left to Brussels (they stayed at my place!). We wanted to go out, becase we won some tickets to a night club, but my friend fell asleep, haha. Saturday, we did some shopping but I was sooooo dissapointed! I only found a pair of black jeans (that I'm wearing here) and some super comphy black boots (also wearing here). In total: 19 euro, haha! We did everything by foot, so we were so tired afterwards. We went to a house warming party of the neigbours of my friends (kind of funny, we didn't know anyone!). After that, we went to the bar next to the apartment. My Parisien friend decorated the bar, so they offered us some drinks and we met some nice Parisiens. The day after we went to a 'day party' called Concrete. It was a party on a boat, so that was super cool! The entrance was expensive, but it was so worth it! Lots of nice people and some really good music! You can see what I wore on the pictures! We left at 6 pm, because we had to get back to Brussels!

help

Soooooooooooorry for the lack of posting, but I'm dying here with my exams (well, ok, I might exagerate, there are worse things :)). I already had 4 exams, which 2 I succedeed (I even had a 17/20 for one!), 1 I think went well, and one... well let's not talk about it, ok? Haha! Soooo, the thing is, I still have a voucher from ASOS which I can spend £16,90 on ASOS. And I'm really looking for a new super stylish pair of sunglasses. I totally fell in love with the sunglasses of Emilie from Fashiolista. But they are quit expensive, they are from retrosuperfuture... So, I looked some sunglasses on ASOS, but I'm really hesitating (I really want those from Emilie :()! Here is my choice. Which one do you prefer? They are all £12.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

I think I prefer the last one, the cat eye! If someone knows a good website with cheap (cat eye) sunglasses (or even better: those from Emilie), don't hesitate to mention it!

Kisses

love, want, need: purple blouse

Photobucket

I totally fell in love when I saw this pastel purple shirt on Fashiolista. I saw that the item came from Polivore, so I concluded it would be veeeeeerry expensive! Then I saw the same item in an other color (also on Fashiolista) and saw it came from Weekday! Full of excitement I went on their Scandinavian website and saw the shirt with a lovely 75%- sign (!!). I almost cried of joy (= effects of exams...). It ony cost 10 euro!! I wanted to order it, but then I saw it's NOT an online shop and they only sell in Finland, Denemark, Sweden en Germany... I almost booked a train to Berlin, can you imagine :p?

So my question to you is: do you have a solution :p? Or maybe someone of you lives in one of those countries and - oh, by coincidence - is in the neigboorhoud of the Weekday shop and sees the shirt, buys it for me and sends it to me (everything will be refunded)?

I also fell in love with those items:

I think I'm now 2 year on the hunt for grey ankle boots with an edgy touch. There just in front of me, for only 50 euro, and I can't get them!
Photobucket
Love this hardware ring! 6 euro on sale!
Photobucket
So dear readers, if you would do that for me, ooooh, I would be sooo grateful!

You know, this is why I called my blog fashion suicides! So thank you, Fashiolista, for this!

outfit #60: at the river

Just to let you know that I passed my exam the other day! It was an oral exam and she recognized me by my name (she knows my brother who recorded her while she was teaching and made a song out of it, haha). So after my oral exam, we talked a lot, it was actually weird to talk to a professor like it's... your friend. A good friend of hers is my mom's boss. Next exam is tomorrow (a 2 pm) and I'm so stressing righ now! Have to goooo... Oh, by the way, tomorrow is also my SHOPPING-day!!

outfit #59: the first one

Tomorrow I have my first exam and I'm really really stressing (it's an oral exam). But the professor looks nice, I met her once outside of uni, really weird, especially because it was at a funeral... Anyways, this is what I'm planning to wear. You'll see lots of shirt in the coming weeks since I have 4 oral exams! I always wear a shirt, it's polite, right? The skirt isn't actually a skirt, it's tank top with a knot. I already did this on the blog. Cool DIY, uh? I love it!

Good luck to all the students out there who have exams! I knwo what you're going thorugh :p! To all the others, ENJOY LIFE.
