outfit #62: the beanie

Hey you!

It's been a while, I know, but I needed some time! I hope you're all doing well!

I guess you have noticed that the beanie is totally in this season! I have been wearing beanies since a loooong time and I love them (especially with long hair) for the winter! I have had this pink one from Cos for quit some time and I still wear it over and over again, but never thought of showing it to you! I, of course, fell in love with the color; that bright pink in winter is just so refreshing! I get a lot of compliments when I'm wearing it. So, now, I'm on the hunt of other ones (in green, especially). I know it's getting warmer, but you always need a hat/beanie to cover your head from the rain here in Belgium!

What do you think about this new trend?

And, Oh my God, I totally forgot to tell you that I SUCCEEDED ALL MY EXAMS. I even have a distinction (do we say that?). It's when you have more than a 14 (and I have a 14,7). There were two exams I was afraid of and I had a 12 and 17 for them, haha. Low esteem took over!

trend: the turban !

I've been obsessed with this new (not so new anymore, actually) trend: the turban. Instead of buying one, I always wanted to "make" one because I have lovely silk scarves home that I could use. Unfortunately, I didn't find a tutorial/DIY on any blog, so I tried to make one myself and here is how I made it. It is not perfection, but I like it. Feedback please?

Step 1: If you have long hair (like me), I recommend to make a ponytail, it makes it so much easier!

Step 2: Take a scarf and make a triangle with it.

Step 3: Put the scarf on your head; be sure that the ends fall in front of your face.

Step 4: Make a knot with the to side ends.

Step 5: Thighten the knot on your forehead and take the ends back (behind your head)

Step 6: Make a secure knot in the back of your head.

Step 7: put the ends inside the turban.

Step 8: Fold the end

Step 9: Put the folded end in the turban (there are many ways to do it)

This is it! :

new trend: creepers

I think you already noticed that creepers are totally in this seasons! You saw them on fashion blog Style Scrapbook, at the Prada fashion show and in the new collection of Doc Martens! I always swore that I would never wear this kind of shoes, but I kind of love them in colors, they look less "harsh".

I really love the shape and the color of this ASOS shoes. You can find them for 98,40 euro!

Let's just end with the most expensive ones ! Praaada ! How amazing and special are these? You can buy them on line here for €550 !
