maison martin margiela + h&m

Did you hear it? Belgian (youhou!) Maison Martin Margiela is collaborating with H&M! They will launch a - probably amaziiiiing - ladies collection in november (Nov. 15th). Can't believe this! Martin Margiela at H&M prices?! I need to see this. Can't wait to see the collection!

I must say I'm kind of surprised. MMM never really did commercial moves and now they will be collaborating with one of the most commercial brands ever, H&M? It's really unexpected! And I'm not sure they loyal fans will be very pleased about this step. I am for sure very curious about it...

versace for h&m cruise collection

In my previous post, I told you I won a whole outfit from the Versace for H&M Cruise Collection (worth £125 or €150) thanks to Columbine. I received the package and here is what I think about the collection:

I prefer this collection sooooo much more than the previous one. This one is sweet and cute. The colors and the prints are more my cup of tea! I'm also surprised by the quality of the pieces. The shoes and the belt are made of leather and you can see it's not the usual material that we find in H&M. I love the shape of the dress! The dress is a bit too long but I think it's really wel cut and fit my body well. Love the draping and the asymmetrical touch! The earrings are so Versace (and heavy, haha) but I really love them. They bling bling your outfit in no time!

I really can see myself wearing this in spring and I like the fact that not a lot of my friends know/bought the collection, since it was only available on line! I'm soooo happy that I won, so thanks again Columbine for this amazing giveaway!

marni for h&m!

Did you hear it?! H&M hits again and I am soooo excited! Marni has been one of my favourite brand for years now, because of their prints, chunky jewellery, color combination and atypical heels. What a rebound after Versace, which wasn't my taste... at all. I just hope the collection will be a bit more than what is shown in the preview, because the colors aren't really my cup of tea. But I love the silver shoes! I will keep you in touch about the date and the prices!

zeeman stunt

Zeeman launched undercover a new luxury brand called "Frank". They inivted lots of peope to their show in Amsterdam Fashion Week. Some thought it was going to be the new Viktor & Rolf. Or not! They wanted to prove that good quality and beautiful clothes doesn't have to be necessarely expensive. Go Zeeman!

collection: stella mccartney resort '12

When I saw Hanne Gaby Odiele (yoohoo, Belgian power!) in that beautiful bow dress I had to know who was the designer behind it. When I discovered it was Stella McCartney, I wasn't surprised. She is in my top 5 of favorite designer. I love every collection of her! Here are some pictures of my favorite items of her new Resort Collection. Look at those colors, shapes, patterns, ... ! These are my favourite pieces of the new Zara S/S collection. You can see the trends for the upcoming months: red blazers, black stripes with colored stripes, tulip shape, long/mid-length skirts, color block, ... Mmmmh...

collection of style

I am a huge fan of H&M's little and sofisticated sister Collection Of Style (COS). The shapes are minimalistic but very special. Everything in the collection is gorgeous to me. I can tell you that I wear almost everyday a piece of COS. The fabrics are of an amazing quality and the prices are really low in comparaison of the originality, the fabirc, the shapes, etc.! This is a snapshot of the upcoming collection!
