outfit #77: direction paris
This is what I wore a couple of days ago when I went with my sister and dad to Paris. It became kind of a tradition to go to Paris during summer (mostly mid August), and I won't complain about it! I've seen Paris a looot, but I still don't get tired of it. The only thing that annoys me is the huuuge amount of people compared to the little space there is. I always feel very 'compressed', haha. I went out the night before until 6 am so I wasn't very fresh (Thank God, there is Photoshop) and hadn't a lot of time and inspiration. Even if the outfit is kind of simple, I do like it. What do you think?`

outfit #76: watercolor
Took these pictures with my webcam and I kind of like the "analog" aspect of it. It doesn't really bother me the quality is bad, because it's kind of cool, haha. Love love love this dress that I bought a while ago in Paris. I wore it in the beginning of the blog as a skirt, but the ruffle top is so cute I had to show it to you! I've been wearing a lot of sweet bustier dresses when the sun is shining!
wearing:
dress - local shop from Paris (30 euro)
belt - random
sunglasses - H&M (5 euro)

outfit #75: wood
Found those pants at H&M for 10 euro and I L.O.V.E. them. Didn't even try them on! The necklace is also one of my "sales buy" (3 euro, Promod). And I wear it all the time! Not very "summer-ish" outfit, but so isn't the weather here in Belgium. Don't blame me!

outfit #74: denim
One of my favourite outfits is: a plain white tee + some cool jeans + heels. I bought those Levi's trousers a while ago for 3 euro (!) in a second hand shop (Think Twice in Brussels) and I'm planning to do some shorts with them. I also bought a second pair (3 euro!! Couldn't resist), also for shorts or I will make some ripped boyfriend jeans. So, take a close look at them, because they will be transformed. To be continued...

outfit #73: sunset
Here are some photos of what I was wishing to wear during 'summer'. Is it in your country also raining aaaaaall daaaaay long (and night) ? Today, we have finally suuuun ! So I might get this outfit out :). Hopefully this weather will stay for a week !
Can you believe this dress is from Zara kids, size 11-12 years? That is so cool of being little, you can go to the kids section! It's my absoulute favorite dress for summer! I wanted to buy it an a size bigger when I saw it before the sales, but I did like 7 Zara's in whole Belgium to find it and I only saw small sizes (even the 11-12 years was gone). So when I saw it on sale, in 11-12 years, I took my chance! And I'm so happy I did!
wearing:
dress - Zara Kids (18 euro on sale)
hat - New Look (5 euro on sale)

outfit #72: the uniform
Hey guys!
It's been a while, I know ! But I've been nejoying my freedom, away from my computer and courses! It's been gooood, aaaah.
Speaking of exams and stuff, I passed all my exams! 3rd year, here I come! I'm so so happy ! Now I can enjoy 3 full months of vacations (I start end september) and then exams in December. But that's for later!
This is what I mostly wore during the exams. Jeans + black boots + comfy sweater. Again a €3 euro sweater. The color is so so so beautiful, perfect for a more cold night during summer. It's pastel bleu/mint (the realy color doesn't come very good on the pictures!). I was so happy when I found it!
Like it?
wearing:
sweater - vintage (3 euro) (similar here)
jeans - Cheap Monday (50 euro)
boots - Pull&Bear (20 euro on sale)

outfit #71: life on mars
Hey you!!
It finished my exams yesterday! I know I passed 2 of the 5, so I might have 3 exams to repass, we'll see. What a relief to be over that horrible period.
Yesterday was such a sunny day (and so hoooot)! I went in town to go check some sales, but they weren't very good yet (they officialy start the first). Then I went home back with a friend and we drank some cocktails while listening to music, tanning, etc. Just chillin! Much needed.
You might be already sick of this sweater, but I just can't get enough of it. It goes with EVERYTHING (might do a "5 ways to wear it"!). Those Levi's shorts are also a goes-with-everything-piece. This was kind of my uniform while studying :).
wearing:
shorts - Levi's (18 on sale @ UO)
sweater - Lacoste (3 euro @ vintage shop)
bag - Il Bisonte (my grand-mother's)
sunglasses - H&M (5 euro) (similar: here,

outfit 70: magnum

This is actually not a recent outfit. I wore this when I did the Magnum Pleasure Hunt in Brussels. Magnum (you know, the ice cream) organized a whole tour in Brussels with shops. They also made a "bar" where you could have free ice creams, massages and manicure. I went with my mom (who totally fell in love with the music at the bar) and it was very cool. I didn't buy anything though. I wore this with white all stars, because it still hurts when I wear heels :(.
Anywaaaay, I did a shopping break monday and went to the 3-euro-sales at Think Twice (vintage store). I scored some pretty nice (DIY) stuff that I will show you sooooon. So stay stuned (don't forget to follow me hihi).
wearig:
pants - ZARA (10 euro on sale)
T-shirt - COS (my mom's)
blazer - H&M (20 euro on sale)
watch - fake CASIO (5 euro) (you can get your real one here)
What an expensiiiive outfit, haha.
Ps: Sorry for the bad qualite pictures! My reflex died when I was taking them, so I switched to my compact one...

outfit 69: crocodie
So so, last post I told you I wore a similar outfit with the Lacoste sweater (similar: here & here)! Well her it is. Underneath the sweater there is actually a lovely white dress. I wore this to a lovely bbq. It was soo much fun (but so hot!). So I took the sweater of and belted my white dress. Multifuncional!
I'm so in love with this sweater (I already said it, but, really, I am!). I'm just so happy I found it, and for only 4 euro (which makes it more wonderful). Speaking of prices, I just found that that the bag I got from my grand mother, the bag that I take everywhere (also to student parties where they throw beer at you) is actually worth €200, haha. It's from this brand called "Il Bisonte". Oups.
I'll leave you here, because duty (a.k.a my study books) is calling. Enjoy your day, dears!
wearing: dress - unknown, sweater - Lacoste (4 euro), belt - River Island (got it with some shorts), shoes - H&M (20 euro on sale), bag - Bisonte.

outfit 68: lilac

On my birthday, I went vintage shopping and saw this lilac sweater that I totally fell in love with! I also found a Lacoste cream knit, which is just awesome! Can't believe I only paid 4 euro for each!
Monday I went to class and thought I'd wear my new favourite sweater (washed, of course). I put on my wool coat above it and wanted to wear my wool scarf too, but forgot. When I got out, it was so HOT. I walked to my bus station and God, it was way too hot. I really felt like an idiot when I saw everyone at the bus station wearing skirts bare legged and guys wearing shorts. I immediately took of my wool coat, but still felt stupid with my warm knit, haha.
Then I went shopping with my mom and bought this lovely dress at Mango for only €19,99. I will show it to you soon (depends on the weather). Then I went to the movies with my dad, sis' and stepmom. A nice (and hot) day, it was!
By the way, what do you think of my hair? What if I tell you, there's a sock in it? Haha, more details coming soon!

wearing:
sweater - Vintage (Think Twice) (4 euro)
pants - Zara (40 euro)
watch - fake Casio (5 euro - bought in Madrid)

outfit #67: silk flower
Hey!
I'm writing a paper since one week so I didn't really have the opportunity to dress up! Sweatpants it is! Buuut... It's almost over. I should be finished today or tomorrow. Then, I'll fully concentrate on my birthday party. I think I know whick dress it will be, I'll keep you posted :D.
I bought this silky men's shirt a while ago in Episode and I was kind of lost with it, because it's so big. Now, I think I found a greaaaat solution: wear it as a skirt. What do you think? By the way, I totally fell in love with this jacket when I first saw it in Pull&Bear, but the price tag was disappointing :(. Fortunately I found it after the sales in my size and for only 30 euro. I was soooo happy!
wearing:
jacket - Pull&Bear (30 euro instead of 80)

A dear reader contacted me recently with a beautiful project. I'd like to share with you a very inspiring text she, Jackie Clark, wrote about cancer and fashion.
"Have you ever noticed that sometimes, wearing the right thing gives you a lift in mood? Do you love how you look when you wear a particular shade of green, or do you have a pair of shoes that give you just the right lift? It can be easy to forget how these things make you feel when you are dealing with doctors and mesothelioma cancer, among others, but now it is time to remember again. Your beauty is a part of you, and it hasn’t gone away. The world wants to push cancer survivors into the niche of the saintly invalid, but if this role has gotten wearisome, it is time to make a change. Fashion is a fantastic tool for striking back and empowering yourself.
Start with your feet. Your feet are tools that take you where you want to go, but you’ll also find that when it comes to fashion, they don’t change that much. You can wear those gorgeous black pumps that have always made you feel like a femme fatale, or you can put on those girlish sandals that bring back all of your favorite summer days. If you are in the mood for something new, look around for some sturdy but fashionable boots that will take you anywhere. Shoes are a fantastic way to remind yourself that you are a woman who is going places.
Another thing that you could do when you are looking to spice up your fashion sense is to go shopping for some new basics. Every woman can use a little black dress, a narrow black skirt and a good looking slim-fit sweater. These are just a few of the basics that can have you delighting in fashion again. They never go out of style and at the end of the day; you are going to find that they can give your wardrobe a whole new lift. A little bit of work with the basics and some time in front of the mirror will remind you that you are a gorgeous woman who should dress to her assets.
If you are in a place where you want to remind yourself that you are beautiful, don’t forget your face. Take a morning or an evening to yourself and sit down in front of your mirror. Play with your lipstick and your blush and your eye makeup; it doesn’t matter if you are going anywhere. Just by going through this old routine, you’ll find that you are in a terrific place recall the good times and to look forward to the good times yet to come.
When you are beautiful, nothing can hide it. Whether you stay in or go out tonight, remind yourself how beautiful you are. Look into the mirror smile and say yes, I am beautiful!"
