outfit #5: glitter

Hi guys !

Sorry for the lack of outfit posts, but here is one! The weather was so bad this afternoon (it still is), so the pictures don't look so great. I also hadn't my boyfriend around, so I had to take the picture by myself and they aren't looking so great, please excuse me :)! I'm wearing a glitter skirt that I bought on sale for 5 euro. I wore it once at a new year's eve party and I thought I could try it in a casual outfit. Tell me what you think!

jumper - Pimkie (16 euro in sale)
skirt - H&M (5 euro in sale)
shoes - Zara (40 euro in sale)

new trend: maxi skirt

I'm totally into this new trend: the maxi skirt. Unfortunately, I don't think it really fits me, but I'm definitely going to try the AA skirt ! Here some of my favourites:

trend: the turban !

I've been obsessed with this new (not so new anymore, actually) trend: the turban. Instead of buying one, I always wanted to "make" one because I have lovely silk scarves home that I could use. Unfortunately, I didn't find a tutorial/DIY on any blog, so I tried to make one myself and here is how I made it. It is not perfection, but I like it. Feedback please?

Step 1: If you have long hair (like me), I recommend to make a ponytail, it makes it so much easier!

Step 2: Take a scarf and make a triangle with it.

Step 3: Put the scarf on your head; be sure that the ends fall in front of your face.

Step 4: Make a knot with the to side ends.

Step 5: Thighten the knot on your forehead and take the ends back (behind your head)

Step 6: Make a secure knot in the back of your head.

Step 7: put the ends inside the turban.

Step 8: Fold the end

Step 9: Put the folded end in the turban (there are many ways to do it)

This is it! :

wearing:

scarf - Do not remember, except it was for men
ring - market in Spain (6euro)

outfit #4: event photographer

Tonight I'm going to be a one-night-event-photographer ! My mom is hosting a party in a huuuuge place in Brussels and she asked me if I wanted to be photographer. If my pictures are good, she'll pay me... (I'm just a beginner...). I once was an assistant-photographer at a fashion show for Natan (Belgian designer), it was so much fun, but I was shy (I didn't dare to ask the models to take a pose for my picture). So, I'm kind of scared for tonight... Wish me good luck. I think I'm going to wear this H&M dress with these shoes... Classy, simple and amazing color!
What do you think?

dress - H&M (30 euro I think)

collection of style

I am a huge fan of H&M's little and sofisticated sister Collection Of Style (COS). The shapes are minimalistic but very special. Everything in the collection is gorgeous to me. I can tell you that I wear almost everyday a piece of COS. The fabrics are of an amazing quality and the prices are really low in comparaison of the originality, the fabirc, the shapes, etc.! This is a snapshot of the upcoming collection!

You can find the prices and the rest of the collection on their website! Enjoy!
