outfit #52: young blood

Helloooo!

I forgot to tell you that at the christmas market in Brussels, there was an H&M pop-up store! The whole chirstmas party collection was available there and upstairs you could get dressed by stylist, get some make-up by professionals and get photographed by a professional photographer. Oh, and there was also a hairdresser! "We got a whooole mak-over just in time for chrismas." Or NOT. I went there full of excitement with three friends and when we went there the collection wasn't really my cup of tea (I don't like the colors). The store was extremely little and when we went upstairs there weren't no stylists, no make-up artists, no photographer, no hairdresser. Just two sellers with an iPad. We had to 'disguise' ourself with some accesoires and then we had to pose in front of the iPad. The good news is that I can win 250 euro of shopping (what would make me verrrrry happy). I was kind of embarassed because I told my friends that it would be awesome, but we only stayed, like, 15 minutes or so. NOT. WORTH. IT. It was raining like hell too. Dissapointment.

Anyways, it snowed yesterday in Brussels! The city is whole white and tonight I'm going to a concert, my last night out before the exams :(.

I always hate to anwser to the question "what would you like for christmas?". I always say "Uh, I don't know", when I totally know what I want, it jsut embarasses me! But for my dear readers, I'll tell you what I really want (feel free to send me the gifts, haha!)

1. Those ASOS shoes, imitated from Casadei. I just love the heel, the color is gorgeous too, but the light pink from Casadei stole my heart! Now on sale for 50 euro (the shoe sale ends today!)

2. Black chelsea boots (67,25 euro). Those are from ASOS, but there are a lot of others.

3. Hamburger telephone! Just like in Juno. (I already have the pink furry telephone and the red lips telephone)

4. Rock rings. Those from Azede are pure perfection (she even shows us how do to do them!).

5. Lomography camera. The design, the pictures, the price. LOVE. IT.

6. Cat eye sunglasses! Even if we are entering winter, I just want them. Those are from Fredflare ($14).

7. The Hungover Cookbook. I like to party, I like to cook. $11

8. A city trip. I just need some vacation! (Speaking of city trips, I'm going to Madrid in February woop woop! More details coming soon!)

Hellooo,

Remember I told you I went to a fastfood with my dad and sis ? Well, my mom (who's divorced with my dad) went with us and we felt sooo bad afterwards :s. Today I'm going to the christmas market with my dad and sis' (my mom will stay home). He shoud be here in five minutes, but he's always late so I thought I'll post what I'm wearing. Love this outfit, it sooo cozy with the fur (it's real fur and I feel so bad about it, because I'm a total pro faux fur and against real fur ...). OMG he's here! Have to goooo !

Hello!

Time for an outfit post! Thanks for your comments on my make-up post, you're the best! And the picture is photoshoped, my skin isn't that "smooth" in reality haha (just being honest!). I wore this yesterday when I went to the "X-mas market" (Marché de Noel) with the boyfriend. It was soo beautiful and soo expensive, haha! Anyway, I have to hurry because my dad is taking me to a fastfood hahahahah with my sister (she's 10!). Every wednesday we eat together in a restaurant (usually japanese) and now I'm going to a fastfood with my dad who wears a suit.

wearing:

dress as skirt - Zara (gift of my dad)

silk scarf - Monoprix (my mom's - 10 euro!!!)

sunglasses - F21 (gift from the F21 party)

make-up routine

Hello darlings!

Some of you requested that I post about my make-up routine and actually I mostly don't wear any make-up! I just hate to remove the make-up at night and my skin doesn't really like make-up! Also, I like the natural, beachy, Californain surfer look. So very, natural and neutral and without lots of color. If I do wear color it's on my lips (never eyes!); a bit of red lipstick or soft pink lip gloss (not too much). I usually steal the concealer or mascara of my mom because she has some fancy stuff (Chanel, YSL, L'Oreal, Dior, Lancome, etc.), but I must say that I wear a lot of "cheap" make-up such as HEMA and they are very good! Here are the products I use:

Concealer:

HEMA! I have tried a lot of concealers and I must say HEMA

is very good and it's so cheap! Another favorite is the one I'm

wearing on this picture is Lancome "Touche Eclat" (but money,

money, money - 32,40 euro). One I really didn't like was the

Garnier roller, in my opinion it sucked!

Foundation

I don't use liquid foundation because it's to thick and grassy in

most case and my skin doesn't "like" it, so I use Dream Matte

Mousse from Maybelline (my ultimate favourite)!

Mascara

My two favourite mascara's are Telescopic from L'Oreal and

Dior Show Mascara. Not the cheapest, but what I do is I buy

a cheap mascara for the liquid and use the brushes of the

Telescopic and the Dior show!

Eyeliner

I rarely but eyeliner and if I do I borrow from someone. I

have some from uknown brands and I don't really care!

Bronzer

I bought years ago a bronzer from HEMA and I still have it.

I don't wear it often, that's why! It works very good, but

there are some glitters in it (in lots of HEMA products

actually) and I don't like that.

Lipstick

Mostly I wear those of my mom, because, again, she buys

nice brand, but she always were soft pink and sometimes

I just want some deep dark red, so I bought a lipstick at

HEMA (nr. 65) and I loooove it. I think I paid 3,5 euro!

marni for h&m!

Did you hear it?! H&M hits again and I am soooo excited! Marni has been one of my favourite brand for years now, because of their prints, chunky jewellery, color combination and atypical heels. What a rebound after Versace, which wasn't my taste... at all. I just hope the collection will be a bit more than what is shown in the preview, because the colors aren't really my cup of tea. But I love the silver shoes! I will keep you in touch about the date and the prices!

Quick post before I start studying for uni. I'm really sick of all those papers. But Fridat everything will be over and there is a maaaaassive party in Brussel for students (a tradition).
