my party dresses collection

Fashion-fever.nl posted some days ago a post about her party dresses and I felt inspired to do the same! Speaking of parties, I went to a party Saturday in The White Hotel (as the name says it, the hotel is totally white!). The concept was so cool; you actually party in every room of the hotel. Every room had been decorated by an artist and there were different music bands or DJ's playing. But due to some fights, he party ended at 1 a.m., so I am really dissapointed, since I paid 10 euro for 1 hour and I couldn't see all the rooms...

Anywaaaaay, here are my party dresses! I hope you like it!

1. I wanted to buy this dress last year for my New Year's Eve, but the package never arrived - I was soooo sad! And then I won a Fashiolista gift card from ASOS and bought it, but there wasn't my size anymore, so I had to take a size 12 (and I'm a size 8)! I have to wear with a belt, because it's really too big, but I think I'll wear it this year on 31 December :D!

Photobucket
The dress on the left comes from H&M and I wore it the first time I went in a danceclub, haha. I went with one friend and she wore the same dress in black, haha, how pathetic :p. The dress on the right is kind of new, I only wore it once. I fell in love with the color. It's from H&M too and I paid 35euro for it.

3. This dress comes from a Belgian store called JBC. I never find anything in that store, except when it's sales time, don't ask me why ! I got it for 15 euro I think and wore it on my birthday this year. The necklace comes from Forever21 (gift from the stylist).

Photobucket
4. My prom dresses! The first on I wore at "my" prom (senior year) and the second one at a prom, but it wasn't my class' prom. The first on I bought at Victoria's Secret for nothin (it was 100 dollars, but got it for 30 + 30 dollar shipping haha). The second one comes from Topshop, I got in London for nothing. I can barely breath in it, but I love the shape of the dress (my favorite shape for a dress).

Photobucket
5. I got this sequin dress at United Colors for Benetton and wore it for my best birthday, my sweet sixteen birthday. I still don't really dare to wear and I don't really like the shape of the dress. The other dress comes from Mango and I can't believe I hesitated to buy this dress (it was on sale for 18 euro)! I wore it for one of my fist dates with my bf, for a school party and for a costume party (the '20)!

Photobucket
6. This was my ultimate favorite dress. I swear I touched it and looked at it every night before I sent to sleep, haha! You might have seen the leather version on Cocorosa's blog, which was actually the one I wanted to but; but a dress at 200 euro is a lot for a 16years old student! Anyway, I really wanted it so I went to Antwerp and found the leather one, but my size was out of stock and by magic I stumbled upon the polyester one, in my size, for only 50 euro. I think it was one of the happiest days of my life, haha!

Photobucket
6. I wore the dress on the left when I was backstage-photographer at the fashion show of Natan. It's from H&M and I bought it for 30 euro, I think. The other dress is also from H&M and alos cost 30 euro, I think. I loved the asymetrical shape of it.

Photobucket
7. My mom used to own a second hand shop, which also sold party dresses and this dress was perfect for a silver themed party I had. The story behind the dress on the right is tat I bought because, after 3 hours of shopping in Topshop, I had to buy something. I loved the shape of the dress, but I don't like the color now... I wore it for my 17th birthday in London, when I went shopping.

Photobucket
8. Last but not least, the Zara dress! The color is not my thing, but it was love at first sight! I wore it on New Year's Eve (2008) and I remember that a girl had the same dress at the party, haha, so I switched it.

Now, the question is, what would you like to see next? My classy dresses, my rings, my bags, my favorite tops, my colored pants, my blazer, my winter coats, my party shoes, my flats ... Tell me and I'll show you!

Have a nice evening :). Thanks for reading my blo, you are truly the best!

the alternative: leopard booties

I think everyone is dying over those booties from Giuseppe Zanotti, as seen on Betty from "Le Blog de Betty". I understand, but did you see the price (WTFFF!) ?! I found a very nice alternative. Bless New Look!

outfit #47: the forest

Heey!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend and Halloween! My costume was "Wednesday Addams" (pictures coming!) and I went sunday to the "Modo Brussels", it's a Fashion "route" in Brussels. It was a lot of fun, I found some really fun stuff; I even found a silk Lanvin shirt for only 30 euro in a vintage store (I didn't buy it, though, it wasn't my color)! I also did some shopping on saturday, and I bought a a blue jacket, a blue sweater, a blue T shirt and a red skirt, a looot of blue as you can read :p (pictures coming soon, too!).

I'm really in the mood of DIY'ing because I am bored of my clothes. So here a sneak of what really inspires me lately. Let's do it ourselves!

new hair

I wanted to cut 20cm off my hair for women who have cancer (wigs). Unfortunately, my hair was too damaged and I had to cut at least 10 + 20 cm off. So I cut 15 cm, just the damaged ends. I kind of miss my wavy messy hair, but I can feel that my hair needed this; it is so much more soft and thick. Do you like it?

outfit #45: disaster room

This is what I'm going to wear today. I'm going to eat something with my dad and then I'll might do some shopping, we'll see. I am making a dressing (the old "study room" will become my dressing) so I first had to take all the clothes out of my wardrobe (because I have to get rid of the wardrobe) and my room is a disaster now! I have clothes everywhere (and by everywhere I really mean everywhere - I have to sleep with my mom!). I'll will definetely show you my dressing when it's finished! Can't wait! Do you have a dressing?

outfit #44: under my pressure

Hey birdies!

What a beautiful, magnificent weather in Brussels! It's like summer in Octobre (really, yesterday 34° C; hottest 1st of October in the history of Belgium!) and I LOVE it! Finally we have summer and Brussels doensn't look depressing in Octobre. If you have never visited Brussels, you should do it now!

This is what I wore today (but I changed, it was way too hot). I swithed the shirt and the sweater with a white simple marcel (which basically means a white tank top - we say "marcel" in Brussel/Belgium). God, I love those shorts from Forever21 (leather short for 23 euro, say whaaaat?!). I think this fall it will be all about mixing and matching colors together. Do you like it ?

Hope you all have a nice Sunday :).

outfit #43: time stands

This outfit is again, an other example, of how versatile clothes are. This "skirt" is actuallt a T-shirt... I also love the color combination, those two tones of blue go perfectly with the kaki, I think! It's a sunny day in Brussels, so those colors are perfect!

Anyways, I'm starting uni tomorrow! Kind of excited :D. Did you already start? And how did it go? I'm beginning my second year :). I also wanted to thank you for your nice reactions on my previous posts. Thanks for reading (and not only watching) my blog :).
