inspiration : diy

I'm really in the mood of DIY'ing because I am bored of my clothes. So here a sneak of what really inspires me lately. Let's do it ourselves!

new hair

I wanted to cut 20cm off my hair for women who have cancer (wigs). Unfortunately, my hair was too damaged and I had to cut at least 10 + 20 cm off. So I cut 15 cm, just the damaged ends. I kind of miss my wavy messy hair, but I can feel that my hair needed this; it is so much more soft and thick. Do you like it?

outfit #45: disaster room

This is what I'm going to wear today. I'm going to eat something with my dad and then I'll might do some shopping, we'll see. I am making a dressing (the old "study room" will become my dressing) so I first had to take all the clothes out of my wardrobe (because I have to get rid of the wardrobe) and my room is a disaster now! I have clothes everywhere (and by everywhere I really mean everywhere - I have to sleep with my mom!). I'll will definetely show you my dressing when it's finished! Can't wait! Do you have a dressing?

outfit #44: under my pressure

Hey birdies!

What a beautiful, magnificent weather in Brussels! It's like summer in Octobre (really, yesterday 34° C; hottest 1st of October in the history of Belgium!) and I LOVE it! Finally we have summer and Brussels doensn't look depressing in Octobre. If you have never visited Brussels, you should do it now!

This is what I wore today (but I changed, it was way too hot). I swithed the shirt and the sweater with a white simple marcel (which basically means a white tank top - we say "marcel" in Brussel/Belgium). God, I love those shorts from Forever21 (leather short for 23 euro, say whaaaat?!). I think this fall it will be all about mixing and matching colors together. Do you like it ?

Hope you all have a nice Sunday :).

outfit #43: time stands

This outfit is again, an other example, of how versatile clothes are. This "skirt" is actuallt a T-shirt... I also love the color combination, those two tones of blue go perfectly with the kaki, I think! It's a sunny day in Brussels, so those colors are perfect!

Anyways, I'm starting uni tomorrow! Kind of excited :D. Did you already start? And how did it go? I'm beginning my second year :). I also wanted to thank you for your nice reactions on my previous posts. Thanks for reading (and not only watching) my blog :).

outfit #42: back to blog

Hi everyone!

As you may have noticed, I wasn't very active this summer and I apologized. It is quit difficult to blog when you're abroad. Anyways I'm not going to brag about how busy I was and stuff, like some blogger do (or about the weather...). Those aren't my major problems.

I must say I was thinking quiting blogging after I came back from France (Surf camp) because I kind of realized this fashion blogging world if just fake. I was there chilling with my friends and nobody cared how I looked or which brand I was wearing. It made me realise that there is more than only fashion. There are so many blogger - some talented and fashionable and some do it for the wrong reasons. There is way to much competition. It kind of depressed me when I saw how "wonderful" Andy's (from StyleScrapbook) and Carolina's (from FashionSquad) life were. Their ony problem is the weather "Oh God, I couldn't wear my Alexander Wang shoes today becase it was raining :(" or how tiiiiired they are because of Fashion Week. It really gets on my nerves. Don't they have bigger issues? I think they reflect such a bad image of the fashion and blog world. Of course everyone wants to be a blogger! So, I thought about fashion and how superficial it actually is, how serious people look at it, like it will find a cure for breastcancer... I don't know, I have some mixed feelings... Anyways, sorry if I have bothered you with my non-sense. I still love Fashion, but I'm aware there is more than only Vogue and fashion week...

Anyways, this is what I wore last night :p. I took some pictures yesterday but the lighting was veeery bad so I re-did them today. I went for a drink with to friends. :)

I hope you have a nice day and that the weather is how you like it :D.

sea, surf and sun

I had the most wonderful vacation ever in Moliets, France. As you know, a friend won an MTV contest! She won a 7 day trip to Moliets to learn how to surf. Everything was included (transport, lessons, surf material, food, parties, tent, etc.). I met the nicest people from all around Belgium and Holland which I'll for sure keep in touch (we have already made a reunion with the Belgians). The atmosphere was amaziiiing: I'll always remember the chillin' in fat boys (huge pillow), the bronzing, the surfing 'or the attempt to), the eating (mmh), the drinking (maybe too much..), the partying, going to the beach, the aquagym, the jaccuzi, the swimmingpool, the everyday nectarine, the T mission, the theme party (I was Hippie Helena - we had to disguis with the first letter of our name), San Sebastien, the beack parties, the Open, the blondie bitches (don't ask :D), the drinking games, the chocolate obsession of a friend of mine, the f*cking river, the painful walk to the beach, the storm, the movie we saw, the last night, ...
